It looks like a "Bulb", so when asked bunga apa ni? I say bunga bulb...it has a sweet scent too. Pictures were taken at abt 10.30pm from the balcony...neighbors across were suspicious of course.... as i was somewhat pointing the camera to their house ....but in fact i was actually trying to focus correctly to the flower. I love the beautiful nite sky too.

...had to wait a week for processing and scanning of the film...the anticipation was annoying..Y..because i hate surprises...this time did some modifications to my precious seagull to take up 35mm film in it's 120mm spool. The pictures was quite o.k..learned that I need not wind the film too much..

Although i specifically left a note to the shop to scan the film with it's sprocket holes ...it came back with none..hmm what a disappointment.

Making homemade remedies is one of my favorite weekend past time. So, last week a colleague came to work with a plastic full of the mengkudu/noni fruit.... she gave me the whole lot and my mind was wondering what the *tut* i'm suppose to do with all this smelly fruit.

Hoping not to put it to waste, i googled its benefits and use..my oh my ..there are so many uses...this is one popular fruit. So being creative and I cut one with a disgusted face..and put it to boil. Apparently it's good for getting rid of dandruff and skin problems.

Spent the weekend at Maju Junction Mall K.L to participate in the model photo shoot contest jointly organise by Profoto, Asfon and Maju Junction. On the first day , as expected , all the enthusiastic shooter be it pro, amateur (including myself) swamped the stage for best angle, composition, lighting n whatever else. Before the shoot, felt a bit weary that I might get knocked out by the big guys with their bulky long lens…well I did get knocked, bumped, and pushed but no complaints though the experience was worth it Aall.

On the next day, I nearly didn’t go to the photo shoot as my shoulder were giving problems. A last minute decision was made since it's a waste if I missed the experience, so i packed light, changed the standard lens to a prime lens ..50mm, extra battery and set to go. (but somehow forgot the external flash..hmm)

Arrived late..I thought the competition was over....so I thought. Lucky me.. it started late too and noticing there were not as many shooters as yesterday, I got the best position …right in front of the stage and started to do what I came there for…the experience of shooting models amongst the pro shooters.

The pics turned out better then yesterday, my hands were less shaky and probably because of the shorter lens. After submitting the pics and the talk by En. Bazuki from Reuters , as I was about to leave, got a text msg. notifying tt I’m one of the winners of the photo contest. .. checked the h.p number with the organizers.. ha..ha..nope it’s not a prank.

Called hubby to share my disbelief, he came and we waited until the prize giving. Other than the 1-3rd price, there are 3 consolation prizes plus mystery gifts too. Well I was waiting for my name to be called for the latter..but..lucky again.. I was called for the 3rd……thank god.. what a day!!
